Agnes Kolling

Dickinson

Funeral mass for Agnes Kolling will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Queen of Peace Church with Father Ryan Martire celebrating. Burial will take place at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 5 pm - 7 pm with rosary and vigil at 6:00 pm at Stevenson Funeral Home.

Agnes passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at St. Benedicts Health Center.

Agnes was born in Dodge, ND on April 25, 1929. At age three, her parents moved to a farm in Gladstone, ND, where she went to school and graduated from Gladstone High School in 1947. Following high school, Agnes went to Western Union School in Fargo. She worked at Western Union in Fargo and Minneapolis. In 1952, she married Frank Kolling. To this union two sons were born, Kim and Scott. Agnes was an avid seamstress. She ran Fashion Fabrics fabric stores for several years. Agnes and Frank spent many winters in Barefoot Bay, FL. While there, Agnes learned to weave pine needle baskets. She made many baskets and her children treasure them. She loved having a garden and many flowers. She enjoyed raising her Hungarian Kronbauer peppers, from the seeds her Grandmother brought from Hungary. Agnes lost her beloved husband, Frank on December 16, 1984 to pancreatic cancer. Agnes was Eucharistic Minister at St. Luke's Catholic Church at Barefoot Bay, Florida and St. Wenceslaus Church in Dickinson. She was also a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. 

Agnes is survived by her sons; Kim (Laurie) Kolling and Scott (Pam) Kolling both of Dickinson, ND; four grandchildren, Ryan Kolling, Dustin Kolling, Krystal Mellmer and Kayla Boespflug; and seven great-grandchildren, Kobe and Koia Krenz, Isabella, Iverlee and Bode Mellmer, Kenna and Beckett Kolling; and sister, Helen Connell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Anna Neurohr; husband, Frank (1984); siblings, John, Matt and Ann Marie Neuhror; and her grandparents.
