Ann Marie Neurohr, 84, of Dickinson, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson, ND.
Ann Marie was born September 22, 1934, fourth child of Anna (Kronbauer) and John C. Neurohr of Gladstone, ND. She attended school in Gladstone and Grand Forks but resided most of her life in Stark County.
Ann Marie worked at the Dairy Queen, Wendy’s, thrift and good will shops in Dickinson. She loved family, people and animals (especially cats) and had an uncanny ability to remember birthdays and other dates. She was a gentle and happy soul, always positive and upbeat. She enjoyed outings, social gatherings, ceramics, and playing bingo. She had many friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Ann Marie is survived by her sisters, Helen Connell and Agnes Kolling, both of Dickinson, sister-in-law, Eleanor Neurohr, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Neurohr, and her brothers, John A. and Matt Neurohr, both of Stark County, ND.
A special thank you to Reverend Krebbs for reaching out to Ann Marie and her family and bravely staying with her in her final moments when family couldn’t be present.
Another thank you to St. Benedict’s for providing a place that Ann Marie happily called home the past twenty years.
Due to the pandemic, no funeral or memorial service is planned at this time.
