Anna passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson.

Anna was born April 20, 1923 in Adams County, the daughter of Martin and Nellie (Swenson) Olson. She grew up on the family farm north of Bucyrus, ND, attending country school and Darling Springs High School. It was during this time that she met William Keller. They were married on September 5, 1941 and made their home on the farm near Rainy Butte. To this union, three children were born: Marlene, Duane and Doug. In 1957, they moved south of New England where they raised their family.

Anna enjoyed camping, traveling, especially visiting with family and friends, and spending winters in Arizona and Florida. She also enjoyed fishing in Canada with family and friends. She was fond of playing games, Bingo being one of her favorites. Anna’s hobbies included embroidery and crocheting. Anna’s homemade doughnuts, Lefse, and Krumkake were always a favorite. She was a member of the Hettinger County Homemakers Club and Charter Member of New England Assembly of God, where she was very active. She loved attending school events watching her children and grandchildren. Anna was a devoted wife and mother, dedicating time, talent and love to her family and the family farm. She was a sweet lady who greeted everyone with a kind smile. Anna loved the Lord with her whole heart and she shared that with each generation.

Anna is survived by her sons, Duane (Debra) Keller of Indianapolis, IN and Doug (Sharon) Keller of New England, ND; grandchildren, Terry (LaWanna) Wilhelm, Tammy (Dave) Mackey, Shannon (Jason) Pongratz, Andy (Jenni) Keller, Mike (Tia) Keller, Carmelita (Dale) Daley, Nathan (Amanda) Keller, Melissa (Joe) Williams; 19 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Violet Olson of Hettinger.
