Anthony James McKeveny was born February 6, 1972, in Eureka, California. He grew up in San Diego, where he attended school. In his younger years, Anthony enjoyed surfing, riding motorcycles, and spending time along the California coast.
Anthony began a lifelong career in construction, working in various areas of the industry throughout the years. Early in his career, he worked in HVAC. Anthony was known for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and personality that naturally drew people to him. He made friends wherever he went and had a way of bringing laughter and fun into almost any situation. Beneath his humor was an incredibly generous heart. Anthony was always willing to lend a hand, and even when he had little of his own, he was quick to give what he could to someone who needed it.
He had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed working with his hands, whether he was fixing, rebuilding, or simply tinkering with something that caught his interest. Anthony also loved collecting and had a knack for seeing the hidden treasure in things others might overlook. His creativity showed in many ways; he was artistic and enjoyed drawing, writing, creating, and making things with his hands.
Above all, Anthony loved his family and friends deeply. He remained close to those he loved and shared an especially strong bond with his mother, Joyce. Those closest to Anthony knew they could count on him to show up when they needed him. His humor, generosity, creativity, and big heart will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
