Bobbie passed away on October 14, 2025 at Fallon Medical Complex.
Bobbie Lee Brown was born on April 5, 1972 to Dennis and Kayrn (Kramp) Brown in Miles City, MT. In his younger years he attended Kinsey School thru 8th grade and graduated from Custer County High School in 1990. He participated in 4-H and shooting sports. After graduation he enlisted in the Marines and when discharged moved to Baker, MT. It was here that Bobbie met and married Sara on August 3, 2002. In 2014 they moved out to the country and have made their home ever since.
Bobbie worked for 4-J Well Service for past 25 years and took on various carpenter jobs. He developed a passion for hunting and fishing which he shared with his stepsons and Sara. Many memories were made camping and fishing with his family and will be cherished. It was also important for him to share his safety knowledge when hunting with bow or gun by volunteering his time to teach hunters safety to a countless number of young hunters in SE Montana for years. As an avid hunter Bobbie killed, with his bow, the “big one” and chose to stop hunting after this accomplishment. He also set his sights on acquiring his pilot’s license and owning his own plane. Bobbie’s love of flying took him and his family on many outings. Most memorable was the trip to Denver to watch the Bronco and Patriots playoff game. He recently became a member of the Gideons in Miles City. With his newfound faith and being a self-taught mandolin player he shared his love of music with his church, family and in his jail ministries.
Bobbie is loved and will be missed by his wife, Sara; mother, Karyn; stepsons, Dustin (Dawnette) James, Dillon (Kadri) James, Jason James; grandchildren, Emeri, Kellen, Madisyn, Kacen; sister, Billie Brown; brothers, Bryce (Jan) Brown, Bret (Karla) Brown; many brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews; special friend and beloved dog Maggie.
He is preceded by his father, Dennis Brown; mother and father-in-law, Lawrence and Gladys Hlebechuk; grandson, Leighton James; special friends and dogs Cheyenne and Reba.
