Brandon Miller, age 46, of Baker, Montana, passed away on February 22, 2026.
Born on June 12, 1979, in Woodward, Oklahoma, Brandon spent his early years at Camargo Elementary School in Camargo, OK before moving with his family to Baker, where he completed his education and graduated from Baker High School in 1998. It was in Baker that he met the love of his life, Alexiss Pinnow, and they were married on June 23, 2000.
Brandon dedicated his life to the oil field industry, beginning his career at the young age of 19 with 5M Oilfield Service, working alongside his father, Bob. He later gained valuable experience with D & D Oilfield, Pool Well Service, and D & M Solutions before embarking on a long and fruitful career with Encore, Denbury, Exxon and Merit Energy, where he was known for his expertise as a Lead Operator and eventually as a Production Foreman in both the Pine and Cabin Creek locations.
Brandon was a man of many passions throughout his life. If you knew him then you knew that he was all in no matter what to master and be the best at what he was doing or he would research it till he knew everything possible about it. Then he would move on to his next adventure or crazy idea he could come up with. A large portion of his younger adult life was centered around building and racing either drag-cars or circle track cars. Which lead him to the restoration of his legacy, the 69’ Z28 Camaro, completed in 2011. But as usual it didn’t take Brandon long to find a new project as he took an interest in dirt bikes, razoring and eventually modifying his own Polaris razor for racing. He enjoyed shooting long-range rifles and pool league to fill the slow time during the winter months. A self-taught tinkerer, Brandon had a flair for building electronics, including robots and various projects for his garage. He was known for his ability to involve his family in his hobbies and sports, creating lasting bonds and memories together.
All in all, Brandon’s passion was his family, whether they were camping, fishing or just hanging out for supper while he barbecued his famous steaks and pork chops, it was what he was most proud of. Brandon was a jokester, he was stubborn, brilliant, compassionate and consistent. He wanted to appear as a hard, gruff, and grizzly man when he truly just had the biggest heart and would be there to help in a moment’s notice. His family was his world and his true home. Nothing made him prouder than being a Papa.
Brandon will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Alexiss Miller; his daughters, Taylor Schell and Brooklyn Miller; his son, Brittan Schell; his granddaughter’s, Maci and Wrenley; and his future grandson, Bowden; his father, Robert (Tammy) Miller and his mother, Deirdra Miller. His Brother’s, Jared (Janae) Miller, and Brian (Kaylah) Miller. His Mother and Father-in-law, Wanda and Craig Pinnow. His Sister-in-law, Amber (Steven) Hurley and His Brother-in-law, Leevon (Maria) Pinnow. As well as his several nieces and nephews.
