Liturgy of the Word for Bruce Anthony Kadrmas, 66, of Reeder, ND will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2021 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Father Chris Kadrmas celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Edward’s Cemetery near Fayette, ND.

Bruce passed away October 28, 2021 at West River Health in Hettinger, ND.

Bruce was born January 11, 1955, to Martha (Kostelecky) and Irvin Kadrmas. He grew up on a farm near Killdeer and attended Killdeer School, graduating in 1973. He married Connie Faiman in April of 1976. They were blessed with two children Rachel and Elizabeth. In August of 1984, he married Annette Grosser and together they had one child, Trevor. He gained two stepchildren Beth and Michael. In December of 1992 he married Paulette Fettig Anton, whom he has been married to for 28 years. From this marriage he gained a step-daughter, Anita.

Bruce lived in Dickinson most of his life. He and Paulette moved to Bowman in 2009. Within the last year, they settled in their retirement home in Reeder, as they would say. Bruce worked many different jobs throughout his life. He worked at the cheese plant and drove taxi for 4-5 years. He had his own lawn company for 30 years, did small engine maintenance for 9 years, and also worked at Scranton Equity for the last 4 years. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events, bowling, darts, and spending time with his family. He was a big people person. We will miss seeing him interact with is family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette Anton (Fettig) Kadrmas of Reeder; daughters Rachel (Adam) Gillen and Elizabeth (Ryan) Olheiser both of Dickinson; son Trevor (Alicia) Kadrmas of Dickinson; stepchildren Anita Anton of Jamestown, Michael Tormaschy of Windermere, FL, and Beth (Wade) Schmitt of Dickinson; 14 grandchildren Trenton, Taelen, Elijah, Makenna, Sean, Laine, Reese, Ava, Addisyn, Madison, Grant, Adlee, Kiesyn, and Daxtin; sisters-in-law Ann Hagens of Richfield, MN and Josie (Gil) Hesier of Belfield; 9 siblings Beverly J. (Wayne A. Hecker) Kadrmas of Dickinson, Nancy M. (Dwight) Lumpkins of Liberty, TX, Jamie Villapando, Noreen Cook of Wichita, KS, Daphne (Ivan) Hecker of Killdeer, Judy A. Kadrmas, Amy V. (Albert) Harvey of Dayton, TX, Leann E. Kadrmas of Clifton, CO, and Duane I. Kadrmas of Dickinson; 17 nieces and nephews; and 15 grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin D. Kadrmas and Martha Kostelecky Kadrmas; sisters Geraldine Kadrmas and Kimberly Kadrmas Moore; in laws Ray Hagens, Suzie and Thomas Fettig; grandchildren Emmitt and Ethan Olheiser.
