Carla Nadine was born October 12, 1962 in Sidney, MT, the daughter of Douglas and Patsy (Mastvelten) Barone. She was raised and educated in Baker, MT and graduated from Baker High School with the class of 1981. Carla continued her education at Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT. In 1984, Carla went to work for Mid-Rivers Telephone Cooperative as a Customer Service Representative until July of 2000. She married Bruce Sapp on August 19, 2000 at Zion Lutheran Church in Glendive, MT. Carla joined Bruce at his home on Eagle Mountain Lake in Azle, Texas. She embraced the Texas way of life and wore her Texas t-shirts proudly but never forgot her Montana roots. Carla began employment with Tri-County Electric Cooperative as their Member Services Representative in 2001. She liked her job and worked in various positions until she retired in 2019. Carla enjoyed yearly visits to Montana to visit relatives and going out to the farm to look for agates along the Yellowstone River. She was fond of growing outdoor plants, especially tomatoes and transplanted Montana cottonwood trees. Carla was a very doting wife, always cooking a delicious meal and trying new recipes. She loved cats and loved taking care of them. Carla enjoyed shopping the stores of the Fort Worth area, collecting angel figurines, Zumba and going to painting workshops with her friends. She enjoyed sending cards to friends and relatives for almost every occasion and always sent out her Christmas letter every year. Carla was a kind and caring soul for many people. She was always willing to listen and be there to help out when needed.

Carla is survived by her husband, Bruce of Azle, TX; sisters, Jan (Wes) Froehlich of Hillsboro, ND; Teresa (Bill) Wade of Glendive, MT; brothers, Doug (Rita) Barone of Casper, WY; Tim (Dauphine) Barone of Mill Creek, WA; father-in-law, Henry Sapp of Havre, Mt; sisters-in-law, Jenni (Tom) Scott of Worden, MT; Patsy (Steve) Smart of Three Forks, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
