A Celebration of Life for Cheyenne Harper, 32, of Zap, will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 27, at the Buckskin Bar.

Cheyenne passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Cheyenne Loyal Harper was born May 31st 1993 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to Brett and Tina Harper (Zakszewski) and was the youngest of their four daughters.

Cheyenne grew up and attended school in Cottage Grove where she played basketball and made countless friends. Throughout her life she worked many jobs from bartending to general manager of McDonalds, a position she held for several years. She always enjoyed working, and took pride in everything she did.

Cheyenne loved many things including makeup, crafting, listening to music, and camping in places like the Oregon Coast. She always took the chance to spend time with her friends and family.

Cheyenne met Trenton Thompson when they were young, and they were blessed with two sons. Tyler and Rylen who she undoubtedly loved more than anything. Being their mother was her greatest accomplishment and joy in life. Family was important. She loved her nieces and nephew as if they were her own, and she cherished all the time she got to spend with them.

Cheyenne was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a contagious personality, a great sense of humor that could make anyone laugh, and a beautiful smile that will be missed by all.

Cheyenne is survived by her children, Tyler and Rylen Thompson and their father, Trenton Thompson; her stepmom, Nancy Fritz, and her sisters, Brittany, Erica, and Sky.

She was proceeded in death by her father Brett Harper and her mother Katherine (Tina) Zakszewski.
