Funeral Services for Claudia Dolecheck, 76, of Montgomery, AL, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Stevenson Funeral  Home with Pastor Lisa Lewton officiating. Burial will follow at Rainy Butte Cemetery.

Claudia passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.

Early in life Claudia was raised on a farm in North Dakota. Priding herself on her Scandinavian roots, proud of her family and her heritage, she moved throughout the United States with her family, but always called New England, ND home. In her later years, Claudia lived in Montgomery, Alabama and became passionate about Autism Speaks where she became involved with her family on the challenges of Autism. Not only was Claudia a loving spouse and mother to the men who were her life, but she was a mother to ALL. Claudia was a unique, kindred soul, who defined tough love to all those she did love.

Claudia loved music and was an avid member Southern Accent Chapter of the Sweet Adeline’s. She enjoyed cooking and could rival Julia Childs in the kitchen. She once was featured in the newspaper for a number of her own recipes.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 54 years, Arnold August Dolecheck; sons, Camron Dolecheck, Collin Dolecheck (Charles Taylor) and Corben Dolecheck; brother, Lewellyn Rustan; sister, Eulale Kosen (Waldo); grandson, Aiden Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

Claudia was preceded in death by parents, Eddie Rudolph and Bernice Braaten Rustan.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this most trying time. In lieu of flowers please donate to Autism Speaks or 4H club Of North Dakota.
