Delores Stambaugh

Delores Stambaugh, 90, of Dickinson, passed away Friday, June 28th, 2024 at Country House.

 Born Nov 19, 1933 to Andrew and Bertha Siewert, Delores grew up with her brother Howard on the family farm south of Antelope ND.

 A few years after graduating as Valedictorian from Hebron High School she moved to Colorado Springs where she met her husband, Donald Stambaugh Jr., who was in the Army. They lived in Germany and Washington where they raised their 4 children. Delores worked in the Administration Office of Bethel School District for many years till she retired. She, along with her husband, was very involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, (VFW), Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW and the VFW Cooties. She moved to Dickinson in July of 2015.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Bertha Siewert and her husband, Donald Stambaugh.

 She is survived by her children: Kathy (Guy) Grooms of Dickinson, ND, Donald (Tina) Stambaugh of Puyallup, WA, Debra Stambaugh of Caldwell, ID, and Mark (Carol) Stambaugh of Centralia, WA, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and her brother Howard (Darlene) Siewert of Richardton, ND.

 A Celebration of Life get together will be held Saturday, July 13th from noon to 3p.m. at Break Forth Bible Church, Dickinson, ND. Lunch will be served.
