Funeral Services for Dorothy Fischer, 86, of Killdeer will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Killdeer with Pastor Dorothy Stein officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.

Dorothy passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Hilltop Home of Comfort in Killdeer.
Dorothy was born June 19, 1934 to Timothy and Eva Cuskelly. She grew up helping on the family farm until moving to Killdeer to work at Zimmerick’s Department store. Dorothy married Leo Fischer on May 13, 1965. To this union two sons were born, Arlin and Russell. Together the couple farmed north of Killdeer until retiring in 2004. Dorothy loved animals, especially from the Safari Park in San Diego. She enjoyed traveling with her family to the beaches of California.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Arlin (Timmie) Fischer of Casper, WY, Russell (Tammy) Fischer of Minot; granddaughters, Allyssa, Hannah, Reilly; and sisters, Noreen Austin and Patricia Busch.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo; brother, Jim Cuskelly; sisters, Rosemary Oechsli and Irene Sutherland.
