Geraldine Reindel

Funeral Mass for Geraldine "Geri" Rose Reindel, 86, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with a Rosary taking place at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.

Geri passed away June 7, 2026 at her home in Dickinson.

Geraldine Rose was born on November 26, 1939, in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Harry and Barbara (Hatzenbuhler) Badinger. She grew up in the Dickinson area and later earned her GED in Bismarck in 1994.

On June 25, 1956, Geri married the love of her life, David Reindel, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dickinson. They made their home in Lefor until 1967 before moving to Selfridge, where Geri worked for Farmers Union Oil. In 1974, they moved to Wishek, where she continued working for Farmers Union Oil before opening her own business, Geri's Dairy Shop. In 1983, Geri and David returned to Dickinson. She worked at Woolworth's until it closed and later at Dan's Supermarket, where she remained until her retirement.

Family was always at the center of Geri's life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed visiting with family, traveling, and making memories with those she loved.

Geri enjoyed cross-stitching, painting, and collecting dishes and household treasures. Her family often joked that she made sure her girls would have enough dish towels to last a lifetime. She also shared many special years with her dear friend, Raymond Kurtz.

Geri is survived by her daughters, Vera Reindel of West Fargo, Cynthia (Kevin) Nitschke of Dickinson, Laurie (Wayne) Kemmet of Venturia, and Nancy (Boyd) Piatz of Wishek; seven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; an infant son, David; parents, Harry and Barbara; brother, Raymond Badinger; and special friend, Raymond Kurtz.
