Ileene Nodland

Funeral service for Ileene Nodland, 81, of Dunn Center, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30 at Normanna Lutheran Church in Dunn Center with Pastoral Intern Anne Nies officiating. Burial will follow at Vang Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in Killdeer, with prayers held at 6:00 p.m.

Ileene passed away December 26, 2022 at her home in Dunn Center.

Ileene was born on June 27, 1941 in Bismarck, ND, daughter of Leo S. and Edna (Williams) Kopp. In 1961, Ileene married Randolph Nodland.

Ileene was loved by many and will be forever cherished in our hearts. Ileene would want us all to celebrate life, be kind to others, and savor the moments.

Survivors include three sons: David of Dunn Center, Daniel (Lisa) of Mandan, Darrell (Risa) of Dickinson; one daughter, Nancy (Marshall) Hermanson of Stanley; nine grandchildren, Krista Iszler, Austin Nodland, Jordan Nodland, Reagan Hermanson, Norah Hermanson, Danica Hermanson, Zachary Nodland, Noah Nodland, Courtney Nodland; three great-grandchildren, Holly Weflen, Zayden Weflen, Emma Iszler; brothers, Dorlen L. Kopp of Mandan, Donald (Caroline) Kopp of Mandan; sister, Sharon Flinn of NJ.

Ileene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Randolph; three brothers, Larry, Charles and Kenneth; and brother-in-law, Bill Flinn.
