Jamaus "JT" passed away June 10, 2026 in Sidney, MT.

Jamaus “JT” Torron Maurice Veazey was born on May 19, 1992 in Killeen, TX to Sheena Veazey and Gabriel Jackson. When he was eight months old he and his Mom moved to Dayton, NV where he began his schooling. They then moved to Baker, MT and he graduated from Baker High School in 2011. After graduation Jamaus went out to Oregon, working various jobs and enjoying a new adventure before returning to Baker and going to work for Griffith Steele. Eventually he went to work in the oilfield and moved to Sidney, MT and made his home for the past six years

While growing up Jamaus was known first and foremost by his light up the room kind of SMILE. Throughout his life there was not a person he met that he didn’t consider a friend. Jamaus had a great love of animals and spent nine years in 4-H raising and competing with his pigs, lamb, rabbits and steer. As time went on he found an interest in skateboarding, motorcycles and took pride in his ride and learned how to take a vehicle and make it something special. The bond Jamaus and his Mom had was beautiful, strong and became a special friendship. Jamaus had a passion for the outdoors and would travel to experience new places. He was often seen wearing a pair of Air Jordan’s and dressed fresh and clean. One of Jamaus  proudest moments was his baptism and the growth in his faith a couple years ago. Jamaus was a positive person and tried to motivate those he cared for with his words and actions.

Jamaus was loved and will be missed dearly by his mother, Sheena Veazey; father, Gabriel Jackson; brother, Sam Perdue; maternal grandmother, Mary Kibodeaux; cousins, Mandy Mathis, Keifer Veazey; paternal grandfather, LTC Chaplain Charles Jackson; great aunt, Regina Holmes; aunts, Prina Jackson, Trena Stephenson; cousins, Trea Neal, Autumn Harvey, Chavours Bradshaw, Zyena Jackson, Lakisha Lindsey, Inae Jones, Djon Garrison, Dimorise Deshields; extended family and many friends.

He is preceded by his maternal grandfather, Willie Ray Veazey; maternal step grandfather, Dean Kibodeaux; paternal grandmother, Nina Jackson.
