Jeffrey Lee Haag

Funeral Mass for Jeff Haag, 61, of Dickinson will be 9:30 am Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Richardton with Father Thomas Wordekemper, OSB celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Jeff passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at his home in Dickinson.

Jeffrey Lee Haag was born on September 11, 1962 to Joe and Louise (Kopp) Haag. He was raised on the family farm near Richardton, North Dakota.

Jeff graduated from Richardton High School in 1980 and attended Dickinson State College from 1980 – 1981. Jeff helped on the family farm during the 1980s, and he later worked for TMI Systems in Dickinson from 1989 – 2002. 

Jeff moved back to the family farm to help care for his mom and dad. After his dad passed away in 2004 and his mom moved to Evergreen Assisted Living in Dickinson, Jeff moved back to Dickinson to continue helping his mom. He went to Evergreen to visit her every day until she passed away in 2017.

Jeff liked to garden at the family farm, and he enjoyed watching animal and nature documentaries. He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.

Jeff is survived by his brothers, Ken of Richardton and Matt of Kansas; and his sister, Josie of Richardton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe (2004) and Louise (2017); his brother, Dan (1999); and sisters, Linda (2020) and Irene (2020).
