Jesse Zeller

A Funeral Service for Jesse Zeller,53, of Dickinson, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Burial will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to his service on Friday, at the funeral home.

Jesse passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Sanford Medical, Bismarck.

Jesse was born November 22, 1972, in Dickinson, the son of Ron and Jenny (Wetzel) Zeller. He grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1991. After graduation he joined his father and worked in the family business Zeller Construction, Inc. until Ron's retirement in 2021.

In recent years, Jesse struggled with personal challenges that he ultimately lost the fight to. He had a good heart and a caring soul, and those who knew him before life became difficult will always remember the person he truly was. Although he faced struggles that changed the course of his life, he was so much more than those struggles. He will be remembered for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories that will reman in the hearts of those who loved him.

Jesse had a passion for cars and especially loved drag racing, something that brought him a great deal of pride and joy throughout the years. He could often be found tinkering in his garage and was very talented when it came to restoring vehicles. He took particular pride in restoring his dad's old 1977 Chevy Pickup that was gifted to him and his 1979 Z28 Camaro "BADAPLE".

Jesse enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping, and valued his time racing alongside his brother Ryan and friends, Bill and Jeremy Olson, Aaron Gaffrey and Spencer Tuhy. He was a member of the NHRA Racing Organization and enjoyed competing at races throughout the region. Jesse was also especially fond of his faithful dogs.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Ron and Jenny Zeller; siblings, Ryan (Jamie) Zeller and Laura (Mark) Erdman, all of Dickinson; and his niece and nephews, Keaten and Kendra Zeller, and Ethan and Payton Erdman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry and Eleanor Wetzel, Richard and Victoria Zeller, Uncles James, Joel and Jerome Wetzel and Raymond Schwindt.
