John Roth

John Roth, 72, of Belfield, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at St. Lukes Home, Dickinson, ND.

In accordance with John's wishes cremation will take place and no services will be held.

John was born March 25, 1954, in Dickinson, North Dakota, to John Dean Roth Sr. and Phyllis (Kessel) Roth. He grew up in Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School. Following high school, John attended technical school in Arizona for a short time before returning home to Belfield.

Throughout his life, John worked a variety of jobs, including for the railroad and as a beekeeper, landscaper, and ranch hand. He enjoyed making dream catchers. In his free time, John enjoyed fishing, reading, horses, and watching movies.

John was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Belfield.

John is survived by his siblings, Craig Roth, Stephanie Roth (Michael Dennis), Kelley (Pam) Roth, Morey Roth, Dena (Alvin) Hoff, Amy Myran, and Cale Roth; his brother-in-law, Arthur Fultz and his nieces and nephews, Chris, Ronya, Tristan, Daniel, Ryan, Jeff, Cher, Terisa, Jessica, Zachary, Joseph, Nick, and Matthew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dean Roth Sr. and Phyllis Roth, and his sister, Sheila Fultz.
