Jordan passed away February 12, 2024 at his home in Dickinson.

Jordan Thomas Binstock was born in Dickinson on July 20, 1995, the son of Jeremy and Sharla. He graduated with high honors from Dickinson High School in 2014. Following graduation he went to Bismarck State College for engineering. Jordan returned to Dickinson and worked with his dad at Performance Truck Center, Weatherford and Oneok where he worked as an erosion specialist. Jordan was a proud father and believed his greatest accomplishment was his son, Braxton.

Jordan had a fierce love for fast cars. He loved working on his Nova and always looked forward to racing season. He loved racing cars and won at the Southwest Speedway three times; twice in hobby stock and once in sport mod. Yes, burnouts were also a favorite pastime. Jordan was a hero to his son Braxton. He loved teaching him about racing and most recently how to do ‘cookies’ in the yard with his four-wheeler. Jordan also enjoyed fishing and hunting. His family and friends meant the world to him. Jordan was always there to help anyone. His humorous personality always making people smile and laugh. Jordan will be greatly missed.

Jordan is survived by his parents, Jerry (Shirley) Binstock of South Heart and Sharla Falcon of Williston and Jason Slater of Trenton; son, Braxton; brothers, Casey (Kelsey) Binstock, Jared (Paige) Ballweber, Cameron and Peyton Slater; nieces, Finley and Charlie; sister, Mattea; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Phyllis Roth; grandpa, Clifford Roth; great-grandparents, Fritz (Ann) Binstock, Casey (Mary) Rodakowski, Helen (Adolph) Sather; great-aunt, Beverly DeJardine; aunt, Mary Hoon, Marla Urban, and Jane Urban.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Southwest Speedway in Jordan’s name.
