Funeral Mass for Joseph Wald, 39, of Mandan, formerly of Dickinson, will be 10:00 am MST, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson with Msgr. Richter celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Visitation for Joseph will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm MST Friday, February 6, 2026 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil taking place at 6:00 pm MST.

Joseph passed away February 3, 2026 at his home in Mandan.

Joseph Andrew Wald was born on November 8, 1986, in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Aloysius and Bernadette (Nolz) Wald. He grew up in Dickinson and graduated from Trinity High School in 2005. Following graduation, Joseph attended Black Hills State University for a couple years before returning home to Dickinson, where he began his career with Northwest Tire. He later moved to Mandan, where he had lived for the past ten years.

Joseph loved playing guitar, video games, and spending time with his family. He looked forward to motorcycle rides, listening to rock and roll, and watching movies. He also enjoyed spending his time gardening and weight lifting. Joseph was a member of Knights of Columbus.

Joseph is survived by his parents Al and Bernie Wald of Dickinson; Siblings, Denise (Marc) Friske of Dickinson, Paul (Shanelle) Wald of Bismarck, Glen (Katrina) Wald of Bismarck and Rachel (Kelly) Ebach of Dickinson; grandmother, Anna Nolz of Napoleon; as well as his nieces and nephews: Jordan Friske, Connor Friske, Kayla Friske, Morgan (Wald) Bartholomay, Marquel Wald, Madison Wald, Kylie Wald, Ashtyn Wald, Gavin Wald, Charlie Ebach, Evelyn Ebach, Journey Ebach; and one great-niece Guinevere.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Evelyn Wald, and grandparents, Markus and Elizabeth Wald and Martin Nolz.

Joseph will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
