Judy Lynn Hunt, 73, passed away May 19, 2025 at Fallon Medical Complex. In accordance with Judy's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
Judy Lynn Godsey was born on September 23, 1951, to Frank and Gladys (Fugate) Godsey in Bromley Kentucky, where she grew up. As a child she enjoyed going down to the creek to fish and lay in the sun. Judy meets her first husband at 16, where they had two daughters, Pookie and Heather. They moved to California in 1975, where Judy worked cleaning houses, so she was able to take care of her daughters. Judy met Bob in the early 1980’s and got married. Judy and her family moved to various places, her favorite was Lake Arrowhead, CA. The beauty and peacefulness of the mountains where she could walk was her favorite place to be. The family continued to grow with Alicia, Melissa, and Tammy. Sadly, losing Alicia. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1991, where she loved to cruise the town in her IROC. Then decided to settle down in Baker, MT in 1999 where she has resided ever since.
Judy took great pride in being a mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her home was her castle. Her most favorite times were when family would gather and spend time together. She also enjoyed listening to music, her favorite artist was; Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam, and Matchbox Twenty. Cooking for her family gave her much joy, she loved making stacks of pancakes for her grandchildren. Judy enjoyed when her grandchildren would come have sleepovers at her house and watched SpongeBob on the couch. Judy made sure to never miss an episode of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE and the Waltons, those were her two favorite shows. Judy’s favorite color was purple; she loved butterflies and lilacs.
Judy is greatly loved and will be missed by her daughters, Melissa Tew of Baker, Tammy Hunt of Baker, Michelle and Richard Crain, Heather and David Whitmer of Kansas; brother, Jerry Godsey, sister Mary Godsey; her grandchildren, Zackary Godsey, Daniel Randall Jr., Breanna Alvarado, Drew and Sabrina Isbell, Alexus and Tate Tew, Eternity, Olivia, Julien, and Brysen Tiedemann, along with 12 great grandchildren.
Proceeded by death; both parents, daughter Alicia, brothers Steven and John.
