Larry Freed

Larry Freed, 71, Covina, California, died March 18, 2005 at Rowland Convalescent Hospital in Covina, California. Memorial services are 10 a. m. , Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Fr. Dennis Schafer celebrating. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Larry Freed was born October 8, 1933 in Dickinson to Amos and Evelyn (LeBeau) Freed. He attended local grade and high schools. He was drafted into the U. S. Army on August 11, 1954 and served during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Alaska. He was honorably discharged on August 10, 1956. He attended barber school in California and was a self-employed barber for many years. He married Dorothy Jorgenson on October 18, 1961. She died August 16, 2004. Together they had one son, Kevin. He is survived by: one son, Kevin (Olivia) Freed, Glendora, CA; two grandchildren, River and Kiefer Freed; two brothers, DuWayne (Arlis) Freed, Sun Lakes, AZ and Howard (Barbara) Freed, Dickinson, ND and one sister, Helen (Stanley) Weber, Spearfish, SD.
