Laura Jacobson

Family will receive friends 1 pm - 3 pm Monday, October 6, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Private burial will take place at Dickinson Cemetery.

Laura Jacobson was born on January 25, 1961 in Dickinson ND to Marjorie and Vernon Jacobson. Laura and her family lived in Dickinson, and spent weekends and summers at the ranch in rural Amidon, ND.

Growing up, Laura enjoyed riding the 3 wheeler and she loved helping her mom in the kitchen with all the baking and cooking. After graduating high school she got a music degree at Concordia and studied teaching, before moving to Colorado where she worked until moving back to Dickinson to help care for her aging parents.

After her parents passed, Laura returned to Colorado, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Laura passed away peacefully after complications associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Laura will always be remembered as the kind and caring daughter, sister,aunt, and friend that she was. May her soul rest in peace.

Laura is survived by her 3 brothers Loren (Kris), Larry, and Alan (Stephanie), her nephews Matthew, Levi, and Ryan (Lynelle), and her special friend DawnMarie Schwappach.She was preceded in death by her parents Vern and Marjorie, and nephews Justin and Casey.

Laura will have her ashes spread at the ranch along side her nephews and will have some of them interred with her parents at the Dickinson cemetery.
