In accordance with Laura’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside will services will take place at a later date.

Laura Burrill, 95, of Baker MT, passed away March 28, 2020 at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker.

Laura was born September 9, 1924 in Morris Township, PA, to William Hart and Viola (McMillen) Hart. Laura married Leo Burrill on August 9, 1944 and to this union two children were born, David and Ann. Laura & Leo were married for 61 years, during this time they lived in Wakeman, Ohio.

Laura had a passion for reading and shopping. She made beautiful knitting and needle point projects. She loved to spend time with her family, especially time spent in Wakeman, when family came from Parma, Elyria, Oberlin, Medina and Cleveland to have BBQ’s and play games.

After Leo passed on she moved to Baker, MT in 2006 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, where she was able to experience ranch living.

Laura is survived by her son, David (Debbie) Burrill; her daughter, Ann (Roger) Weaver; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo; her sisters, Mary (Peter) Grandilli, Maddie (Jack) Yates, Jeanne (Eddie) Dyson, Hallie (Bob) Waugaman.

A very special thank you to everyone who offered prayers and support during this difficult journey, we couldn't have gotten through it without your support. Thank you so very much to the wonderful staff at Fallon Medical complex, which did a great job of taking care of mom. A big thank you to the local churches that showed up each Sunday, Mom looked so forward to those services. May God bless each and every one of you.
