Lillian passed away September 8, 2026 at St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson surrounded by her loving family.

Lillian was born April 13, 1935, in Burns, Wyoming, the daughter of Daniel and Nellie (Young) Kinnison. She grew up in Colorado and graduated from high school in 1953 from Keota High School. Following graduation, Lillian attended college for a year before eventually making her way to Montana.

On June 15, 1959, Lillian married Eldon "Ben" Bondell in Miles City, Montana. Together they were blessed with three children, Nellie Jean, Sheila Fae and Frank Robert. Lillian and Ben built their life together on the family ranch near Baker, where they farmed, ranched, and raised their family. In 1994, Lillian and Ben retired to Gladstone, where they made their home the remainder of her life.

Lillian loved ranch life. She enjoyed riding and showing horses, raising cattle, gardening and tending to her flowers. She was involved with the American Angus Association, Cowbelles and the American Appaloosa Association. Ben and Lillian were well known for their Registered Angus Cattle.

Lillian was fiercely independent and strong-willed, qualities that remained a defining part of who she was throughout her life. She knew what she liked and was never afraid to be herself. She especially loved jewelry and always enjoyed looking classy.
