Linda Joy Scheeler was born in Dickinson on July 26, 1957, the daughter of Edward and Joyce (Demaniow) Scheeler. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, 1st through 8th grade and Dickinson High School, 9th grade through her senior year, graduating in 1975. Linda worked at Ramada Inn from 1974 to 1978. On February 1, 1978, Linda married David Dolyniuk. Following this union, Linda was a stay-at-home mother raising their daughters, Jennifer and Keri and supporting David’s career. In 1983, they relocated to Williston, ND.  In 1986, David’s career took them to Farmington, New Mexico, “Land of Enchantment”. Here is where Linda started her career as an orthodontist’s assistant.  Anchorage Alaska became their next adventure from 1997-2000 and another assignment then took Linda and David to Houston, Texas. After 11 years in Houston, together they returned to Dickinson.  Linda retired her 25 year orthodontist assistant profession upon returning, ready to enjoy being with her family and friends. During her career, Linda enjoyed yearly business trips to Orthodontist Conventions.  These trips were hosted by cities across the US and Canada. Her most memorable trips were made to Washington DC, Toronto Canada, San Francisco and Honolulu. Linda then ventured into becoming the project leader for building her dream lake house, Loft-Recreation Garage.  Many family and friends enjoyed Linda’s summer retreat house and hospitality. Arts and crafts kept Linda busy showcasing her talent in craft shows in the cities and surrounding area in North Dakota, New Mexico, Alaska and Texas.  Linda became an avid Green Bay Packer fan, always enjoying the NFL season, Sunday and weekday games. She especially loved hosting Play-off games and Super Bowl gatherings. Linda became a NFL share-holder of the Packers in 1997.

Linda will be remembered by her Angel Pins “Linda’s Joy”.
