Later she worked for Snohomish County Washington in public health. In 1979, Jim & Linda moved back to ND. Linda worked as the Dunn County Public Health nurse then became Director of Nursing at Hilltop Home of Comfort for approximately 22 years before retiring.  Being an RN was natural to her, taking care of people was an integral part of her.

She loved to travel and was able to take some amazing trips, including Norway, Alaskan Cruise, and all over the United States. Aside from family & friends, Linda loved three things: Shopping, Green Bay Packers and UND Fighting Sioux. Every year she attended UND hockey games even traveling to out of state games. Linda was in Tampa, FL when they won their last NCAA Championship!

Linda’s two grandchildren, Morgan & Grady, were the most important people in her life. She would make it to every school and sports event possible. Every year, she took them to a UND hockey game and was able to take them on other trips throughout the years. She would move mountains for them. Now she is their Guardian Angel.
