Loren Everett Pierce, 59, of Dickinson passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
A visitation for friends and family to share memories and pay respects will be 1:00 – 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Loren will be buried in Minnesota at a later date, next to his mother, Ruth, his son, Jordan, and his brother, Randy.
Loren was born on October 30, 1965 to Willard and Ruth (Chapman) Pierce in Brainerd, Minnesota. Loren has 8 siblings, who he thought the world of. He loved spending time with all of his family.
In July of 1999, Loren met Deb Zastoupil, who he would spend the rest of his life with. This year would have marked 26 years of happiness. They did so much together, they were as one.
Loren loved being a dad and grandpa. His kids and grandkids meant so much to him, and they were his pride and joy. He loved going to South Dakota to spend time with his grandkids, and he loved getting candy for them. He would give them the world.
Loren loved bowling, riding horses, watching racing, and rodeos. He always had good stories from his younger days. He was always up for a good joke. Loren loved collection dream catchers and model monster trucks. He loved their little dogs so much.
He especially loved listening to country music. When a song came on that he really liked, he would blare it on repeat. Loren had certain songs that meant something to him. “Blue Clear Sky” was one that he would play on repeat. “Any Man of Mine” was a song that his son, Nathan and he would sing their hearts out to. “Three Wooden Crosses” also held a special place in his heart. He also liked “If I Die Young” in honor of his grandson and his two boys. “Forever and Ever Amen” was the song he said was his song to Deb.
Loren is survived by the love of his life, Deb Zastoupil; three step-sons, Mike, Chad, and Brian Zastoupil; two daughters, Jade Watson of Dickinson and Bobbie McBride of Minnesota; siblings, Mike Pierce, Rodney Pierce, Linda Owen, Vernona Adams, Lee Pierce, and Glen Pierce, all of Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Jackie Ridl of South Dakota; grandchildren, Jesse, Katie, Colton, Tempest, and Tornado, of South Dakota, Arianna, Kaden, Mckenzie, Mylie, Gary, and Mason Watson of Dickinson, and Matthew, Drake, Emberlyn, and Alice McBride of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ruth (Chapman) Pierce; two sons, Jordan Pierce and Nathan Ridl; one grandson, Dylan Ridl; and one brother, Randy Pierce.
