Lynette Kessel, 57, passed away October 31st, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, surrounded by her family.

Lynette was born June 8, 1964 to Ronald and Mary Ann (Ridl) Kostelecky. She grew up on their family dairy farm. She attended school in South Heart and graduated from South Heart High School in 1982. On May 30, 1987, she was joined in marriage to Roger Kessel; they were blessed with two children Devon and Brittany. Lynette ran Fairfield Country Store for many years, until the store closed. She later worked for many years at Wal-Mart, where she enjoyed shopping for others. She loved her children dearly and was their greatest cheerleader. She was always there to listen and was the most kind and caring soul. She loved to read a good book and watch a good Hallmark movie. She loved everything coffee and enjoyed cappuccino day once a week. Her two granddaughters were the light of her life and she enjoyed spoiling and spending time with them. She enjoyed doing diamond art and any types of crafts with Olivia. She was always the first to volunteer to watch her granddaughters. She will be missed by so many.

Lynette is survived by her husband Roger; son Devon; daughter Brittany (Shannon) Hendricks; two granddaughters Olivia and Zoey Hendricks; sister Lisa (Russ)Hendricks; and many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Mary Ann Kostelecky; grandparents Laudie and Mildred Kostelecky, and Andrew and Dorothy Ridl; brother-in-law William Kessel; sisters-in-law Vinette Kessel and Joann Kessel.
