Mayra Gonzalez Pena, 64, of Dickinson passed away September 25, 2021 at her home.
Mayra was born November 30, 1956, the daughter of Migdalia Pena and Marino Gonzalez. She grew up in Providence Santa Clara, Cuba where she attended school until age 16 before moving to Havana. She married Fernando Berlanga in 1985. To this union 3 sons were born. In 2016, Mayra came to the US to reunite with her son and husband. In Dickinson she worked a variety of jobs.
Mayra had a lifetime hobby of antique collecting. She enjoyed collecting rocks and mysticals. She spent her time helping with physical therapy and giving massages. She will be remembered as a great cook! She had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.
