Funeral Mass for Patricia "Pat" Williams, 86, of Baker, will be held 10:00am Thursday, August 6, 2026 at St, Charles Catholic Church in Marmarth, ND with Fr. Ben Franchuck celebrating with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Pat passed away March 15, 2026 at Heritage Estates Nursing Home in Nebraska.

Patricia "Pat" Williams, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Gering, Nebraska. She was born on September 25, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Gae (Stanton) Chasely. Growing up, Pat attended Catholic schools, eventually graduating from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas. In her youth, Pat found herself in Marmarth, North Dakota. While visiting her father’s ranch she first crossed paths with Roy Williams. They reunited and married on May 24, 1964. Together raising their six children on the family ranch, where Pat's devotion as a wife and mother became the heart of their home. Pat's work ethic and generosity were evident in all aspects of her life. She built a successful career as a New York Life Insurance Agent while also embracing her roles as rancher, study hall monitor, and hospital board member. Yet, it was her love for her family that truly defined her legacy. She had a special talent for making every occasion memorable, ensuring no birthday went forgotten and making Christmas extra special. Her caramel and holiday cinnamon pull-apart rolls became a tradition, eagerly awaited by neighbors during branding time. A one of a kind storyteller, Pat's enthusiasm and joyful laughter will linger in the hearts of all who knew her. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, from Bosnia and Croatia to New Zealand and Australia, to name a few, creating treasured memories. Each winter, she looked forward to spending sunny months with her sisters, Vicki and Ginny, enjoying shopping excursions and movie nights in Arizona and Texas.

All staff @Heritage Estates Gering NE, who provided such loving care & treated Pat with unending dignity, respect & kindness, you cared for her so genuinely until the very end.

Pat is survived by her loving children, Carl "Marty" (Carol) Williams, Forrest "Frosty" (Lanae) Williams, Jerry (Carrie) Williams, Aleeta (Mehdi) Merred, Sandy (Alba) Higgins; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki Johnson and Ginny Petros; brother, Mike Doody. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Roy R. Williams; daughter, Kathryn (Kathy) Gae Berger.
