There are people that come into your life and leave a lasting impression with their smile, energy and the love they share. Renae was one of those special people to many. Renae exemplified the Proverbs 31 woman, she lived her life with purpose, diligence and had a unbreakable devotion to God. Men and women were inspired to pursue wisdom and excellence, love unconditionally and to develop a deeper walk with Jesus.

Renae M. Stroh peacefully left this world to enter eternity with her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2025, with her husband at her side reading her scripture as she went to a far greater place of peace and wholeness.

Renae was born on April 27, 1951, the 7th of 11 children of Anton and Magdalen Schwindt. Growing up in a large family was special to her, “The more to love she said!” Special memories were made in her youth while attending St. Joes Catholic School, and even more in her adult years. Renae met the love of her life, Chuck Stroh, at a young age and they were united in marriage on November 27, 1970.

Home was always a special place, for family to gather. Home for them was North Dakota, Glendive, Montana for over 20 years where together they raised their four children. Renae and Chuck enjoyed wintering in Arizona. Family and friends always felt welcome wherever they lived. It was always a place of peace, quiet, serenity where we knew we were safe and loved unconditionally. Summers you would often find Renae camping at the lake; kids would travel and join in on the fun. She enjoyed the peace it gave her and the company (Chuck) that traveled with her.

Renae always had a love for people, a love for sharing God’s word and talking to people, and her career path as a hairdresser for 40+ years built lifelong friendships and connections. She continued to pursue God’s calling on her life and became a certified and licensed Reverend through Koinonia Ministry, and a Certified life coach at the American Christian College, Breakforth Bible Institute and Lighthouse University. Renae faithfully served God counseling individuals, setting captives free and healing wounds of the brokenhearted. As a Master Facilitator of the American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute, she impacted many lives leading trauma healing groups and training for leaders. After reviving Aglow in North Dakota Renae led many outreaches and became the State President. Renae played an important role in worship events, statewide gatherings and Game Changers.

Being called mom filled her heart, but when she got the title Nana, her heart overflowed. Renae was blessed to be present in the lives of her grandchildren, and most recently greatgrandchildren, Renae rejoiced, “Just more to love and pray for!”

Blessed to have shared her life, her best friend and husband Chuck, son Shaun (Shannon), Dickinson, ND; grandchildren Boyd (Roxi), great-granddaughters Rhen, Scout, Luca and Billie.
