Shaila Cryer

Shaila Maree Cryer, passed on February 14th around 6PM in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was born on January 7th in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and grew up in Mountain Home, Idaho.

Shaila, also known as Cy by friends, lived for her daughter and took extreme joy in being Lilylynn's mother. Shaila was fond of dance and as a young girl would always be dancing around in a leotard and tutu. Shaila was overjoyed with the thought of her daughter sharing her love of dance and excited to find out that she would be taking lessons. Shaila had a great love of animals especially horses, which she learned to ride when her granddaddy sat her on her first pony, Peanut, at a year old. While life was not always kind to Shaila, she handled every situation thrown at her with her free-spirited perspective.

Shaila was a person who loved others and would give freely to those around her, and though Shaila's love may not be physically present with us at this time, it continues through her spirit and through the spirit of her daughter.

Shaila Maree Cryer passed away at a friend's house from heart related issues. She will forever be loved and cherished. Shaila was preceded in death by her grandmothers Gerilynn Zurfluh and Nancy Cryer. Shaila is survived by her beloved daughter Lilylynn Dawn Cryer, her grandfather Robert Zurfluh, her mother Shawntel Cryer, her brother Cristopher Cryer, and sisters Lauren and Lindsey Cryer, her aunt Denise Cryer, and other extended family.

Shaila will be taken home and laid to rest with her grandmother, where she can be at peace. A private family service will occur at a later date.
