Sharma went to grade school in Baker, MT until 1956 where the family moved to Bremerton, Washington. Where they lived until they moved back to Baker in 1958. Sharma attended and graduated from Baker High School in 1965. In school she especially liked English, writing, typing, shorthand, and Latin. Later in life she attended community college where she studied business.

Sharma dated and married Delbert Hufford February 23, 1966 in Baker, MT. To the union three children were born Douglas, Tommy, and Heather Hufford. Sharma and Delbert would later divorce, a few years later Sharma would meet and marry Art Jones with an additional two children, Kelli and Troy Jones that were welcomed into the family. Art and Sharma would later divorce, then in 1991 Sharma married Frank Bledsoe where she welcomed two additional children Carol and David Bledsoe. Sharma and Frank would later divorce.

Sharma started working at a very young age babysitting for friends and family members, taking tickets at the movie theater, and at the A&W tasty freeze in Baker, MT. Later when she moved to Oregon, she worked at a daycare and for Pennzoil American Motor Oil Co. After moving to Poulsbo, Washington, Sharma held numerous jobs ranging from Tide Chevrolet, Olson Brothers Chevrolet, American glass and Upholstery, and Case Power and Equipment. Sharma also held down bartending jobs at the Hilltop Tavern and numerous other establishments. Most times having 2-3 jobs at the same time. Sharma was a very hard-working women, her work ethic was phenomenal.

When it came to cooking, Sharma was one of the best, she would make homemade candy from scratch. A family favorite would be her homemade seafood fettuccini. All in all, she was a great cook. Sharma also enjoyed showing and racing cars on the Woodburn Drag Strip in Portland, Oregon. She was a member of the 49er’s car club, through her many years winning many trophies and plaques. Sharma enjoyed cruising the Bremerton Strip in her 1976 LT Camero with her daughter Heather, will always be a fond memory. Sharma loved all kinds of music even sang in the school glee club; she was a major fan of “Elvis Presley”. Unfortunately, never able to see him in person to perform. She did attend many Elvis impersonator shows which she enjoyed very much. With the love for music, dancing was a passion of hers, it was hard to keep up with her at times.

Sharma loved unconditionally and without judgement. Sharma’s love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, bonus children, and extended family was passionate and bright. Sharma was such a blessing, and she will be missed very much. Till we meet again, keep dancing Shar.
