Yvonne Rost

Graveside services for Yvonne Helen Seaman Rost will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 202 at Bonnievale Cemetery.

Yvonne passed away August 14th 2020.

She was born July 29th 1928 to William and Mable (Scoles) Seaman, the ninth of eleven children. She attended grade school in Baker and graduated from Baker High school in 1946. Yvonne enjoyed attending dances when she found the love of her life Harvey Rost. Yvonne and Harvey were married on January 26th 1946 in Baker MT. During their marriage they were blessed with four children Dennis, Dale, Donna, and Darla. She worked many jobs at the Fallon County courthouse, spending many years in the water department. Yvonne enjoyed reading and baking, especially banana bread and cookies. Yvonne loved to crochet and it showed in each blanket she made for all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her newest great-great grandchild. She also made and donated many afghans for community fundraisers. She enjoyed going to Medora to miniature golf, have ice cream and take in the Musical. Yvonne loved spending time and visiting with her family and loved ones and always looked forward to family reunions. She was deeply loved by her entire family and will be very missed.

Yvonne is Survived by her brother Donald Seaman and sister Frankie Reid, Her children, Dennis (Margaret) Rost, Dale Rost, Darla Hanson. Her Grandchildren Paula (Tracey) Smith, Michael Rost, Jen (Erik) Soehren, Erik (Janet) Rost, Kim Rost, Becky Arnold, Jammie Thibault, Amanda (Chris) Thibault, Gary Thibault, Michelle (Jason) Smith, Anthony (Katie) Hanson, Crystal (Brad) Stanhope. Her Great Grandchildren Melissa (Garrett) Loen, Preston Herrera, Tyler Herrera, Cheyanne Rost, Bailey Rost, Marshall Rost, Tiffany Concha, Drew Concha, Amber Rost, Tristan Schyler, Jayven Rost, Daymmon Hays, Hayden Mulkey, Jayce Vanderslout, Anna Anderson, Aaron and Ashton Thibault, Shelby (Robbie) Slagter, Turner and Tylar Smith, Michael and Marshall Hanson, Ashley and Kelsey Stanhope. Yvonnes only Great-Great Grand Child, Lydia Loen and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Harvey Rost, daughter Donna Thibault and Son-In-Law Wayne Hanson. Her Brothers Jim, Lyle, Les, and Gary Seaman. Her sisters Gen Ducello, Nellie Nichols, Agnes Lovec, and Edyth Kneebone.
